FÖHRENHEIDE
Enjoyment tour for all ages. From our Biohotel it goes on a flat stretch towards Farchant and into the so- called Föhrenheide. A charming meadow landscape with creeks and pine trees, grazing animals and countless rest stops. The youngest can easily return from Oberau by train; adults continue on to Staffelsee or through the Eschenlainetal.
BUCKELWIESE
Starting from Hotel Bavaria it goes all the way up to „Alten Gsteigs”. With the special cultural landscape of the Buckelwiesen the Upper Isar Valley lies at your feet and you pass by many idyllic lakes. Whether to Gerold- or Barmsee or even the violin-making museum in Mittenwald, you decide where you want to go.
PLANSEE
On this route, you go all the way up to the village of Griesen and then, on moderate slopes, up to the second largest natural lake in Tyrol: the Plansee. It’s a wonderful place to rest before you either finish the tour via Ettal or visit the famous Linderhof Castle on the way.
