In the middle of Upper Bavaria lies our beautiful Loisach Valley, where people and nature live together. This cultural landscape, which is maintained by local farmers, is still free of industry and exaggerated agriculture and animal husbandry. The traditional humpback meadows with the flowers and grasses that are well worth seeing are a real natural treasure. Biodiversity is also a celebration for our beekeepers. When hiking through forest and meadows, we see the wild bees buzzing around. Little was built on in the Murnauer Moos and in our mountain world, which makes a trip there a sustainable natural spectacle.
With our Bavarian region as an example, we maintain our large garden of the house for our guests. We want to show our guests the possibilities of using nature. With our new concept we increase the biodiversity of plants and insects. We offer enough space for big and small to play, discover nature and our busy bees. The area and our garden is a paradise for all nature lovers.

Haus Bavaria has seen a lot, since 1977 the hotel has been owned by our family. According to our philosophy, we try to preserve the old and give it a new touch when it comes to renovations. When it comes to new investments, it is very important to us to give preference to high-quality materials, careful work and short transport routes. So it’s the little things that we value when making our selection. It’s not always easy to maintain and renovate such an old house while maintaining the charm. We remain true to our principles about people and nature and create high standards for our guests, which we also wish for ourselves. We love to go that extra step and thus move within our feel-good radius with a clear conscience.

The Bavaria is located in the middle of the city, so you can leave the car at home. The surrounding area is wonderful for exploring nature and sights. USE OF SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS FROM BAVARIA
Our guests appreciate our sustainable philosophy and our eye for the little things that make us special. This includes our new wool pillows from the Grasegger manufactory in Garmisch, solid wood furniture made from silver fir from the Allgäu by the local carpenter Michael Heinze we trust and mattresses from Coco-Mat (link), which pay particular attention to their social standards. We use lime plaster and natural silicate paint for our walls to improve the indoor climate. Recycled fabrics from Christian Fischbacher find a home with us in the form of curtains and carpets. The wooden floors come from the small French manufacturer.
As a BIO HOTEL, we want to neutralize and sustainably improve our CO2 footprint as one of our standards. Many details contribute to the overall picture of a sustainable hotel. At the hotel’s breakfast buffet, you can be sure that you will only enjoy certified organic quality. We try to avoid food waste as much as possible by adding the a la carte breakfast. Many products come from our long-term partners and suppliers in the region. Our own bees deliver the honey at the breakfast table while stocks last. Those who consciously plan their vacation and are looking for a mindful concept will find what they are looking for in the Bavaria. Six-monthly checks by independent organic control bodies ensure a clear conscience on vacation and absolute transparency.
