We are happy to call a fly fishing route at the Loisach-Creek our own and can thus offer anglers exclusive offers. Enjoy wonderful hours on a 4.6 km long river stretch that can be reached in just 20 minutes by car from the hotel. The fish population is considered excellent, especially in regard to grayling. Rainbow trout often reach sizes over 50 cm and are replaced each year. Especially in autumn, when the water level of the Loisach is usually ideal, the river can be traversed very well. For accompanying non-anglers, the river shores are also very beautiful for cycling or just relaxing.

The Loisach near Garmisch-Partenkirchen is one of the best spots for fly fishing Bavaria has to offer. We like to share this beautiful grayling and trout area with other responsible fly fishermen. However, fishing licenses are strictly regulated as we want our guests to be able to enjoy fishing at the Loisach for a long time to come. Therefore, we ask you to comply with the strict “fly only” and removal restrictions that apply in sense of sustainable care. For a service fee, we will gladly prepare your self-caught fish at Biohotel Bavaria or Garmischer Hof.
FLY FISHING SCHOOL HEBEISEN
Even the well-known casting world champion Hans-Ruedi Hebeisen and his wife Heidi, owner of a renowned fly fishing school, have discovered our exclusive fishing spot for themselves and we are pleased to have them as regular guests. In spring and autumn, courses for beginners and advanced students take place at our fishing spot. The combination of nice accommodation at Biohotel Bavaria, fishing license in private waters and lessons given by the Hebeisen fly fishing school is becoming increasingly popular. FLY FISHING IN BAVARIA – OFFERS
Each of our fishing arrangements includes a bad weather transfer guarantee. Your advantage: you can change your booking to another date up to two days before the start of reservation (please note that this might be subject to availability). If the water level deteriorates during your stay you might also leave earlier and take advantage of your fishing license within the next year. The total bill, however, has to be settled immediately.
